  1. It’s a stupid way to damage the world to sit in traffic for an hour every day so I can gaze at a different screen while still communicating with my coworkers on Slack.

  2. I’m crying, too, just like the guys in the cartoon, but it’s because I have to return to work.

I’d love it if you read my post about if you loved this.

  3. This subject is causing me to consider changing careers. After having the forbidden fruit, I can’t take it anymore, I’m so incredibly bitter at being in an office while everyone else I know and work with gets to work from home.

  4. This strikes a chord with me. We were told a few months ago that we would be able to work from home indefinitely, and I nearly cried with joy. I’m far more productive from home, I don’t have to pay for lunch every day, my car is in better shape, and I get two extra hours with my family that I would otherwise miss out on because of commuting.

  5. “B-but how will we know he’s working?” says the narrator.
“All through Covid, he’s been getting his work done.”
“Well, yes, but how will we know Covid is functioning when he’s gone?”

  6. “we need to meet face to face because we are missing the community of the company.” It’s been well without it for a year and three months……

  7. I would not choose to work from home if given the option. Separation is necessary for me. I also have the benefit of being able to work from home.

  8. I JUST STARTED a work-from-home job; this is my first day, and I’m sitting on my couch playing video games during my one-hour lunch break. This, I see, is the cause of all the hubbub.

  9. If you’re a middle manager in an office and think you won’t be able to accomplish your job if your employees are WFH and/or geographically dispersed, you’re mostly correct.

  10. I work for a large tech firm that specializes in remote access solutions. For more over a year, we’ve been working remotely using our own goods. We’re supposed to be back in the office by the end of August.

It’s a bit hypocritical to tell our consumers they can work from home but then have everyone return to the office.

  11. Lol I work for a large tech firm that specializes in remote access. For over a year, we’ve been working remotely using our own products. End of August is the deadline for us to return to the office.

It’s a bit hypocritical to tell our consumers they can work from home but then need everyone to return to the office.
