  1. I’ll never be able to stop grinning whenever this film is discussed. My father and I both have tattoos from that film. It means a lot to me, and I’m glad to see that it also means a lot to others.

  2. While I consider Raiders of the Lost Ark to be the greatest adventure film ever made, this one is a lot of fun and never gets old. It’s also one of Jerry Goldsmith’s final scores, and it’s an incredible soundtrack! Nice cast of characters, and I often use ‘The Caravan’ to teach my composition students the lydian dominant scale. I believe we’ve been waiting a long time for a good adventure film.

  3. It’s something I’ve said a thousand times. We’d all be happy with a new Mummy film starring Brendan Frasier and John Hannah, with Rachel Weisz sticking her head around the corner, laughing, because she just discovered a new artifact that will kick off the film… And it wouldn’t matter if they re-cast her to get her back… It’s exactly what we’re looking for.

  4. “I’d rather be listening to the 1999 Grammy-winning hit “Smooth” by Carlos Santana featuring Rob Thomas of Matchbox 20,” says a t-shirt worn by a friend.

    I’m thinking about getting one.

  5. “I’m a librarian!” exclaims the speaker.

Edit: This is my first gold medal! Thank you so much! How fitting for a film that I quote on a regular basis and grew up with.

  6. Entrapment, Blue Streak, The Matrix, Blair Witch, Office Room, The Matrix, The Matrix, The Matrix, The Matrix, The Matrix,

The Haunting, Varsity Blues, American Pie, Green Mile, Notting Hill

Star Wars, The Sixth Sense, and Thomas Crown

The year 1999 was a gold mine.

  7. Brendan finished, but the dog is filthy. That nonsense is a work of art. It’s on par with Jurassic Park, in my opinion. I believe it is underappreciated because the technological innovations were not as revolutionary. The film is excellent from beginning to end, and if you disagree, your brains have already been eaten by scarabs.

  8. As a result of reading that tiny ass bumper sticker, I got into a car accident. Which is annoying because it means I’ll have to miss my nightly screening of “The Mummy,” a 1999 film starring Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz.

  9. He seemed to have a great time.

Benny gets some of the best one-liners in that movie, or at least is on the receiving end of some of the best.

  10. >HEY BENNY, IT SEEMS LIKE YOU’RE ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE RIVEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

  11. Whenever anyone asks me if I swear, I always answer with “Every damn day.”

It’s a fantastic film with a fantastic cast.

  12. Last week, I rewatched this film. What a fantastic film. So much talent, so much fun. I eagerly await the Frasiersance. He’s gifted in so many ways.

  13. As a kid growing up in the 1990s, this was the ideal film. I first saw this with my friend and his family at a drive-in cinema.
